SOLD!! - This original colour pencil rendering is the FINAL imagining of what is due for completion in Summer 2020. The current view is filled with bare treed grounds and excavated mounds of soil with bulldozers at the ready...but, ah!, the Dream is ALIVE, mercurial...in Process. The original farmhouse building plans has already seen a virtual “ roof raising”, and thoughts or stretching the width might likewise happen. This vision for His parents’ retirement dream home has been commissioned by their son and his wife as parents ready to plan for the golden future! Life is GOOD!...this will be their Christmas gift! So humbled to be part of “the dream” in small measure.
NOTE: Within the controversial distinction of CP “drawing” or “painting” lies artist definition. My definition: when the surface is ENTIRELY burnished, I classify as a Painting; when any exposed Paper Is part of the composition or background, I classify as a drawing. I render both.

Many thanks, Randy...the clients sent me a text after Christmas with their parents holding the Framed painting my friend, Joe had also been commissioned to make from the torn down home which was cleared for their build ...in a retrospective movement forward...they put so much thought in their gift...I was humbled to be part of the effort!
