St Paul's Cathedral - Stone Carvings ~ A close-up photograph of Portland stone carvings of fruit, flowers, foliage and cherubs adorning the exterior of St. Paul's Cathedral in London, UK. This baroque ornamentation was created by Dutch artist Grinling Gibbons who worked in marble, stone and bronze. Gibbons was appointed Master Carver to the Crown in 1693.
