Barefoot in the Park ~ Girl with a Duck, also known as Duck Girl, is a bronze statue by the American sculptor Paul Manship, located in Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, PA. Girl with a Duck was completed in 1911. In this photograph taken in winter, the young girl's head and a part of the duck she's carrying under her arm are covered in snow. Paul Manship is better known for one of his later works -- the Prometheus statue in New York City's Rockefeller Plaza.
